New skill alert: Olympic sport worthy use of a box cutter
So this is one of my favorite little study spots on campus but I’ve noticed more and more that an amazing amount of students come here to sleep.. And I don’t mean nap, I mean SLEEP. Blankets and all. In fact, there is a fellow on a couch near me who has actually TURNED the couch around to face the wall and has created a little sleeping nook. Oh, college.
Also, I finally got a photo of the beautiful sign up in the graphic design studio. It was hand painted by James Edmondson, the one we took the lettering workshop with!
Aden came to visit last weekend and insisted on making me a beautiful (and delicious!) breakfast of french toast and seasoned potatoes! We also visited the Asian Art Museum and did some city exploring! Lots of fun!
Today has been a day of homework and home decor! I finally got around to putting up the prints I ordered a while ago and i’d say they make a pretty great addition to the wall!
That’s something nobody tells you about living in San Francisco and something that you don’t really think about on a casual day trip to the city. Feces everywhere. Feces and pigeons. 80% of this city is literally fecal matter, pigeons, and the fecal matter of said pigeons. I mean, yes, there are many beautiful sights to see here as well, but as you travel to those glorious sights, you best watch your step. Overall, i’m getting used to this place and all it’s quirks but on some days it’s just like “wow, this place is gross”.
